A native East Texan and a 1982 graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler with a BBA in Accounting, Dana has been married 41 years to husband Cecil, they have three grown sons. Searching for her own lake property for her family to enjoy (& as enticement for her children to visit!!) is what brought her to the field of East Texas real estate. She is a second generation Realtor and she began selling real estate in the Flint area on Lake Palestine in 2005.

She opened Lake Palestine Real Estate, Inc. in March 2007, which became one of the Top Ten United Country Offices in the nation by 2009 and has continued that success every year since 2013! Dana has consistently been a Multi-Million Dollar Producer since 2006 and matching people to a property that fits their dream is what she enjoys most. She loves selling lifestyle properties such as lake houses, golf course homes, and vacation homes. She is an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist and has been recognized as a DFW Five Star Real Estate Agent 2011-2017. In 2018, Lake Palestine Real Estate became a subsidiary of Staples Property Group, LLC & Dana opened a South Tyler location at 2344 Dueling Oaks, as well as an office in historic downtown Palestine at 103 East Oak.

Dana lives at Lake Palestine and loves to wake up to views of the lake, herons, ducks, Canadian geese and all the wildlife that lake living in the Pineywoods of East Texas provides. Her heart belongs to animals, though, and she has rescued many dogs and cats, feeling like the owner of a small zoo at times!

She loves the close proximity to Tyler with all the amenities it has to offer including great restaurants, live music & theater, medical, and shopping. If you have a need that Tyler cannot fill, it is less than 2 hours to Dallas, and about 3.5 hours to Austin and Houston.

She also enjoyed serving on the Palestine Independent School District Board of Trustees for 14 years and is a proud supporter of public schools.

Catylist Member since 2018
